Champagne Buckskin & White Filly
Just received from Belinda Zaiter:
Our little part welsh, pinto mare Talbot Lodge Apricot foaled a lovely palomino and white pinto filly on Tuesday 20 October at 9am - 4 weeks early!

Despite the early start, and a "red bag" delivery (which was rather scary and required me to assist in the delivery to prevent the filly suffocating), the filly named "Honeysuckle" is doing very well.  She did require an infusion of plasma the next day - but has gone from strength to strength and is filling out nicely now after 1 week.

Her sire is Sarahn Pony Stud's super Welsh A sire, Woranora Tempest.

A photo of Apricot and her filly Honeysuckle is above
Received from Heather Lord Sunday 15/11/09:

His body markings are like a can of white paint has been tipped over his back and run down his sides. He has lovely straight legs, a pretty dished pony head and well rounded rump, and should mature around 82-84cm. See more pics at www.wishawglenstud.com

This colt is an amazing little boy with outstanding large eyes like his parents and they area deep blue! He has loverly straight legs, a pretty dished pony head and well rounded rump, and should mature around a tiny 78-79cm.

Summer is an amazing little girl with gorgeous large eyes and she is very evenly marked on both sides with plenty of white. She is an exceptionally conformed filly who will be a magnificent competitive show filly, and an valuable broodmare later in life.

(Left) Wishaw Glen Lucky Star
Wishaw Glen Lucky Star (AKA Lucky) was born on the 17th of December 2010. He is by Wishaw Glen Silver Arrow and is out of Wishaw Glen Red Hot. Lucky obtained his name as he had a drama filled start to life. Firstly he was born 4 weeks early and then early on Friday morning the 17th of Dec we recived a phone call from our neighbour (who lives approx 8 acres away) saying that one of our foals had escaped into their house yard. When i went to collect  what i though was one of my older foals, idiscovered a foal i hadn't seen before! Lcuky had somehow become seperated from his mother and crawled his way through 3 fences and over 8 acres away from home! We brought him back home and gave him to his mother who was very pleased to see him! Lucky was a very worn out baby that first day, but is now doing very well and is a happy healthy robust foal. Hottie is a wonderful mother and is doing a great job! The lucky part about his adventure was that if he had wandered in any other direction through the very long grass, we would never even have known he had been born and he wouldn't have survived very long in the paddock on his own. He is a very Lucky Baby!

He is a beautiful chestnut taffy pinto colt. Lucky is an elegant colt with elengated straight legs, flowing movement, pretty head with large eyes, and has a well built body. Lucky is a sweet natured affectionate colt that will be a fantasic asset to studs wanting a competitive show pony and quality colour producing stallion.
For those looking for a show pony only, he would make an excellent stallion quality show gelding.
Lucky will be registered AMPS and is also eligable Pinto horse assoc NSW & MH&PE.

Please find attached some photos of my lovely filly
Tamvina Nizhoni (Nikki)
(DOB: 10 September 2010)
who has just been registered with the NSW Pinto Horse Assoc.
She is by the Purebred Arabian stallion Shambala Iraquoi
and out of my Partbred Arabian/Pinto mare Tamvina Elsa.
"Nizhoni" is the Navaho word for "beauty", therefore she is named after her much loved (now deceased) multi supreme and royal show winning grandmother, Redwood Park Navaho Beauty.

Nikki is the first foal I have bred in almost ten years and represents an awful lot of luck, chance and hardwork, as it took me having to find and buy back Elsa, many stud visits to find the right stallion, a lost breeding season and many vet bills before I was blessed with a pinto filly! Tammie Spackman.
Canterbury Park Celtic Chocolate  "Chocky"
Born:  5/12/10
Dam:  Trazir Krysta'Bella, Welsh A Bay Roan
Sire:    Windsong Celtic Clansman, Buckskin Tobiano
Black Roan Pinto Colt
Registered Appendix Roan, Part Welsh, Pinto

Chocky has minimal pinto colouring with 2 socks, 2 stockings and attractive blaze and 1 blue eye
He should mature approx. 11.3hds

Why "Chocolate"?  Ted (hubby) was the only one home to deliver him (I was at a horse sale - where else) and when he saw the new
baby thought he looked like a "bar of chocolate"!!
